Hanging out and food

Last night I was building up a big grump as I'd rushed out of work to get to the West Sac campus to pick up my new ID sticker only to find that instead of being open until 5:30 like they were last semester they'd closed at 4:30,   It turns out that Sac City will allow me to pick up until 6, so I'll be late home tonight, but should be with a sticker. 

Then I got a call from a pryankster gone distant who was in town and wanted to hang out.  So instead of home to chores we headed over to the house of sewing and fencing for some good visiting.  They had a silly movie playing, and later an episode of the New Sherlock Holmes.  There was hugging and catching up and food, and it made for a really good night.

carrots, cauliflower, cucumber
baked potato soup (I thought this was an odd choice, but it was the lowest carb of the ones at Safeway, the rest of the gang was doing pizza, so I wanted something grabable)
meatballs 
sweet potato fries

tamale
sugar free chocolate
