Life update
Jul. 2nd, 2003 09:03 pmI feel like I haven't written in a while. So here's whats been up.
Today (Wed.) went to career fair and tried to sell self to nice stable company in Sacramento (preferably with benefits) Feeling mildly discouraged, but hopeful at the same time. Very happy to switch back into jeans and T for work.
Mon+Tue explored the joys of EDD very useful, and cost saving. I love free programs set up to help me!
Sun. Went to Maggie's church (she was the campus minister when I was a student in Davis) felt wonderful. Just walking onto the campus brought a goofy grin to my face. I got out of the sermon, and got enveloped in a Maggie hug. Made Sat. 16 hours of moving worth it.
Actually enjoyed BBQ with dad. This is a new phenomenon for me.
Slight bring down when mom guilt tripped me for not returning to help with moving Sunday.
Sat. went down to help mom move. Discovered that she wasn't half packed worked hard from 9am to 1am. Became highly frustrated with mom's dawdling, but got a lot done. Got some of my old stuff.
I think that covers life for me recently.
