Silly nostalgia

I think I just saw a Prius station wagon, which is the car I'm sort of lusting after. It made me think of mom's old dinosaur. It was a huge (to my 3 to 5 year old self) brown fake wood paneled station wagon. It had a U of seats in the back, so that a bunch of us kids could sit facing each other. Now a days this wouldn't work, because we woulda have to be in carseats

The family I carpooled to school with had one of those and I loved it. We had so much fun in the back of that stationwagon, waving at all the folks driving behind us, writing notes and plastering them to the back window. *happy sigh* Good memories.
