Okay so I've been pretty immersed in job hunting for a while now. The weekend was a great break from it. I have discovered some random oddities about myself:
I like shaving my legs (I hope that doesn't lose me my dyke membership)
I strongly dislike makeup (it may be the type I'm using I may have to break down and seek out something better)
I hate career fairs, but they seem to work (not employed yet, but have gotten a few calls)
Free stuff is nice, but not generally of high quality.
I really need more than one interview outfit, these crazy employer folk seem to do multiple interviews.
The stuff I'm qualified for is really random.
I need to get back up to speed with typing.

Anyhow, I had a really good interview this morning. My poor car is going to self animate, rise up and kill me if I keep making these quick jaunts up to Sac, but maybe she'll forgive me if I use any additional pay I manage to get once I find a job into making her work well. I think I really impressed the woman who was interviewing me, go figure teaching experience helps you get into child photography *shrug* sounds like fun. This was a second interview with them, so the next thing I hear should be you're hired or not. Keeping my fingers crossed. Pay'd be up from data entry, and down from subbing, but actually stable (imagine that, something stable enough to easily budget on, I might even do it).

Longer than I expected, and fairly predictable.
