Lent Day 5

kay_gmdEdward Blaylock is a paladin, he does not just play on in D&D, but he does that too, and it's lots of fun.
I met Ed when I joined in a monthly D&D game. I had other reasons to join, but making friends with him would have been worth it even if that was the only thing I enjoyed about it (totally not the case).
Ed is a gentleman in an age where that is rare, and he does it without the condescension that was common when we generally think of gentlemen being more common. He tries to help out where he can, and he downplays it whenever he does it.
He is also just fun to hang out with.
What most makes him a blessing in my life though is the way he articulates his faith. He manages to wear it on his sleeve without pushing it. If more of those of us who proclaim a faith did it like he does we'd have a better name.
